Now in Stock!

The latest issue, Hair, is about more than one's crowning glory. Yes, there are articles about hair styles and even a wig pattern to make for your dolls, but as we grow and expand, FDQ will continue to offer a greater variety of articles and coverage on all dolls. To me, any doll with a set of fashions is a fashion doll, so you will continue to see Barbie, Gene, Tyler, the FR girls and others, but we also have expanded our coverage of BJDs, along with artists dolls, and peripheral accessories, like furniture and props.

As we go forward for our fifth anniversary, we will be making some changes to the magazine. The flow will be the same, but marking a certain time frame such as an anniversary, is also a good time to freshen up the look of FDQ, as well as incorporate other aspects of media to keep our readers entertained.

One new addition was the "virtual" issues. These were a great hit and gave readers additional coverage in between each quarter to stay on top of the news and entertainment in the fashion doll universe.

As we move forward, we will be incorporating video along with podcasts to the site, as well as downloadable content, so that you can keep busy with more news, events, crafts and patterns no matter what time of year it is!

We welcome your input and suggestions. Tell us what you would like to see in upcoming issues! One of our recent additions is "Fifteen Minutes" in which we feature a collector whose collection is unique as they are. Not all of us can be designers or makeover artists, but that doesn't mean that many of you have created a collection that is gallery worthy! So let us know if either you or a friend have a fantastic doll room, or presentation that you would like to share in the glossy pages of FDQ.

Best of all, in this time of rising costs and gas prices taking a bit out of your wallet, the price of FDQ will stay the same, as well as our advertising rates. We want to give you the most bang for your buck so that you can continue to enjoy the wonderful world of fashion dolls without having to drive!

Enjoy, and stay cool!

Pat Henry
